Public Safety Trade Mission to New Zealand & Australia -- First Responder Executives to Discuss Benefits: Confirm Your Participation on the Conference Call Briefing today
CATAAlliance and the Canadian Interoperability Technology Interest Group (CITIG) in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) are organizing a Public Safety & Security ICT Trade Mission to Australia and New Zealand from September 30 to October 7, 2014.
Led by senior officials from Canada's first responder community, including Assistant Deputy Chief Michael Sullivan, Ottawa Fire Services and CITIG Chair, and Chief Jeff Brooks, Manager, Emergency Medical Services Department, The County of Lambton and CITIG Vice-Chair, this mission will provide participants with an opportunity to meet with key players and gather first-hand market intelligence on New Zealand's and Australia's rapidly expanding public safety and security markets within a diverse cross-section of private companies, associations, public safety agencies and public sector entities.
On July 24, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. EST, join Assistant Deputy Chief Michael Sullivan and Chief Jeff Brooks as they discuss their expectations for this mission and its importance to them as Emergency Responders.
Also on the call will be Nigel Sabin, Trade Commissioner, Australia Consulate General of Canada, Fabienne Bovis, Trade Commissioner, New Zealand Consulate and Trade Office of Canada, Eric Torunski, Executive Director, CITIG, and Inspector (Ret.) Lance Valcour, O.O.M, Mission Advisor, in a discussion hosted by CATAAlliance's Chief Business Officer Kevin Wennekes, as they share an overview of the mission details and answer any related questions from participants.
Also joining the call will be Edward Colin, CEO of FDM Software, offering his reasons for having his firm join this mission.
